Behavioural Hypnotherapy
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) is a powerful, solution-focused and evidence-based approach that combines cognitive behavioural strategies, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness to address a variety of psychological challenges.
At the core of CBH is the idea that many psychological struggles stem from a form of negative self-hypnosis, a kind of mental looping where we automatically believe our unhelpful thoughts without questioning them. They feel real, and so we react as if they are - even when they’re not. CBH helps you break out of that loop.
We use cognitive behavioural strategies to explore the problem in depth, identify and challenge those negative beliefs, and begin to replace them with more constructive, compassionate, and empowering alternatives. We use hypnosis to rewrite the inner script, and mindfulness to cultivate awareness, inner stability, and a gentler relationship with your thoughts and emotions.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps you understand the link between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Many of the difficulties we face are reinforced by unhelpful thinking patterns and automatic beliefs that go unquestioned. In our work together, we’ll bring those patterns into the light — exploring, challenging, and reframing them. The goal is not just to think positively, but also more clearly, flexibly, and compassionately — so you can respond to life with greater confidence and choice.
40% Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a natural state of deep relaxation and focus, where your mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions, ones we’ll create together based on your goals. Through hypnotic skills training, you’ll learn to respond more effectively to these suggestions, so you can get the most out of each session. Some people worry about losing control but hypnosis is actually gaining control - using your mind in a more intentional and empowered way to create lasting change. To replace those unhelpful thoughts with more encouraging ones.
20% Mindfulness
Change begins with awareness — noticing what’s happening in your mind and body, and learning to be with it. Without this awareness, it’s easy to stay stuck in old loops, reacting automatically. But mindfulness creates a pause — a space between what you think and feel, and how you respond. With consistent practice, you begin to catch those moments in real time — and in doing so, reclaim the power to choose your response.

A note on sessions
You can expect the same level of care, depth, and effectiveness for online sessions. Many studies show that online hypnotherapy can be just as powerful as in-person. All you need is a quiet space, a stable internet connection, and somewhere comfortable to sit or lie down.

Breaking the Cycle
Most of us live in a kind of unconscious loop: A thought triggers a feeling. The feeling drives a behaviour. The behaviour reinforces the same thought… and around we go. Sometimes it happens in a different order, but the cycle feeds itself — often rooted in old fears or coping mechanisms we developed in moments of stress. These strategies once protected us, but now they keep us stuck. And because the mind doesn’t always distinguish between memory and reality, the body relives the past as if it’s still happening — again and again.
That’s why CBT is solution-focused: we explore the past to understand it, but we don’t stay there. Instead, we build new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding — grounded in the present moment and the person you’re becoming.
Because once there is peace, clarity, and steadiness within, the outside world feels less overwhelming. You begin to see life differently — not as something to survive, but something you can shape.
